Tarte Normande

Hmm, what does this have to do with Finnegan? uh... I made it for his mother as a special thanks. Wait, it looks like she put it on the floor to take a picture of it?

World's Biggest Fortune Cookie

Jude and Nick sent us this huge fortune cookie. I provided a baby for size comparison. It was coated with toffee and chocolate. The fortune told us we are blessed and would have much joy and has certainly come true so far.

My buddy and me

Actually they'd never met before this day. This day is Finn's two-month birthday. Isn't that a good situp for two months exactly?

Egg shaped heads

They must be related or something.

Finn loves ladies in red

Mary Ann also came in for Finn's baptism and loves to hold him. Finn was smiling when he saw her red sweater. He likes bold primary colors and bold beautiful women.

Christening Gown

Monica came up for Finn's baptism and since she is a recent Apparel Design graduate from CMU, she is now sewing the Christening Gown out of Nancy's wedding dress. The gown looks amazing. Thank you Monica!

My two favorite cheeseballs

The butter made Finn's hair turn reddish-gold and now he smells like cheese. He's going to need another bath. Nancy loves her little boy no matter what he smells like, but especially when he smells like food.

A warm bath with butter

Now we try to wash off the butter and take the cradle cap with it. It works pretty well, actually. Finn enjoys the warm bath and head scratching.

I'm a butterhead!

Ok, so Nancy hears on the internet that cradle cap can be cured by rubbing butter on the baby's head and washing it off. Let me tell you, a baby head smeared with lots of butter smells a lot like a popcorn ball! Finn enjoyed this too, he's too young to know yucky.

Snow dog

Our neighbors Alaskan. She's pretty old, twelve or so. Looks a lot like Spoon, only bigger and whiter.

Finnegan's baptism: January 16th, 2005

Finnegan was baptised on Sunday at St. Benedict's church in Seattle and he didn't even cry. He was such a good boy. We had a wonderful day introducing him to the church and to our friends and family.

Learning to read with Daddy

After returning home from a Professional Photographers Association meeting to find Doug and Finnegan reading a book. They were both very comfortable and looked so cute.

Rebel with a pacifier

He's two months old today and already sporting a mohawk. What's a mother to do? Take a photo of it and save it for just the right moment when he's a teenager.

New hairdo

Today, we experimented with Finnegan's hair. I think he likes it.
